Wegner's new 2n1 exhaust for baggers
Hi Guys,
I found a interesting looking 2n1 exhaust on E-Bay by a seller called war-cnc. I sent them a message thru E-Bay and asked them for an e-mail address. When they replied...sure enough it was Wegner Automotive. It is a stainless 3 stage 2n1 headpipe with a Y pipe collector and a short turn out off the collector...with no baffle. Starting bid is $400.00. It looks a lot like the proto type Guppy exhaust for the baggers that was never put into production...without the muffler housing.
It has my wheels turning in my head. A little fabricating from the collector and a Burns muffler housing and baffle...I just might have found the 117"er's next exhaust.
Just my 2 cents...from No Cents
117" Darkhorse build...all smiles!!!

LOL Don...The wheels are always turnin in my head. I would have to go from the collector with a little piece of straight pipe and then a muffler housing and baffle, that will go to the end of the hard bag.
The dyno tune is coming in the next week or two. It's just tough for me to drop the bike off for a week for a dyno tune while the weather is still fairly nice here in Ohio...it's running excellent and I dont think we will have a lot more days this year like were having now. I'm just trying to get in as much riding as I can before the white 4 lettered word starts flying around here and I'm forced to the 4 wheel drive truck.
No cents

I seen that add also, and the first thing I thought was that it looked like a Vrod Destroyer pipe. I bet it's loud.

Yep, it's pretty loud, lol. I just put it on the bike Saturday and it definitely isn't quiet. Kinda wondering about some sort of baffle, but not sure exactly what to use. Really like the raw nasty look of the pipe.

Yeah, I know it's made for the 120, and at some point I plan to go that route. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem to run too bad. I think a baffle of some sort will help, seems to flow a little too freely.

I'll gladly take any and all input. I am always willing to learn. I really like the look of the pipe, and figured some modifications would need to be made for it to be right for my 88. I'm not gonna pretend to be an expert, so helpful advice is always welcomed. One of the reasons I am on VTF is for the wealth of knowledge I've found here........so please, by all means, let me know when I'm smucking up.

So If your going the 120 route just make sure its not running to lean and ride it...Save your pinneys for your 120. I would be also interested in knowing what is being messed up by running this pipe on a 88. Might see a little power loss but thats it. No real damagage that I can think of. Am I missing something?

Do you know if this pipe is available for the newer touring bikes? I cant seem to find any info on it anywhere, any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
