cyco cam tensioners

Hi..wandering if anyone has rebuilt there cam tensioners with cyco shoes and could say how they are lasting. I recently bought a 02 fatboy, it has 32k on it, and not knowing the previous history, im going to replace my cams, and want to replace tensioners while i have it apart. I found a guy on ebay selling the rebuilt tensioners with cyco shoes and pins..but cant find alot of reading on the cyco parts. Or would it be better to just buy new genuine harley tensioners?

Thanks

Change the inner cam bearings while you are in there.

I have replaced the shoes with the Cyco replacements but can't really report on theitnlongevity; the bike belongs to a friend & he doesn't put that many miles on it. This was about 5 months ago but not all that many miles.

We have installed several sets of them over the last 8 months, no long term experience yet.
