What would you do with a new 103?

We ended up going with S&S 551 cams, Dragula 2 into 1 (2.55 baffle), SE air cleaner, and t-max tuner. I am very impressed with the out come. Instant torque and throttle response. Frank from drago's sent me a map that was perfect for the t-max . I reused the stock lifters and pushrods (only 500 miles on bike). Glad HD got rid of the fuel crossover on the new gas tanks, removed the tank in less than 5 min.

The new fuel tanks ruined the fun of spilling gas all over with HDs older setup.The cost of a drain valve on the older fuelie tanks must have went to buy more chinese motorclothes.

Here we go,AndrewsTW54 cams,headwork with cumbustion chambers set at 83cc,.035-.040 quench,clearance valve releifs for larger valves,SE or big sucker air cleaner kit,Rienhart exhaust,and a good tuner.
You can also use SE204 cams with stock cumbustion chambers and the above and get good results.
The new Red Shift cams look nice and I hope to try them in a future build.

One of my really good friends just sold his 03 fatboy, that had a nice 107" that I built, think it made 110/117 if I remember right. He bought a 2013 road king and he wants me to "hook up the motor". I am thinking exhaust, a/c, tuner. and cams, maybe head work and shave'em down for a little more compression. So what would you guys do, what cams, pipe, a/c, etc.... he likes to twist the throttle and is not scared to wind it out. I'm thinking, leave the pistons and cylinders (they are new, and already 103")pull the heads for cnc port and bigger intake valve and fly cut for compression, cams????not sure, looking at something like s&s 585, input?

We have multiple 103 combinations we put together, if using our combinations we have the Fuel injection maps for the power vision already done for you and are free. The 585's work well with the 103" engines
