i've been running heads with quite a bit cut off, almost to the fin. the only hurdle to speak of is the intake fitment. and of course the valve clearances.

No because they cant be cut that far.
If you use them out of the box. That means no chamber work. You might get 91cc's. 93 cc is the norm with the chamber work.
So dont fight it,they cant even be cut far enought on a 120 r to get to a true 10.5 compression with flat tops.
If you want to use them in a 107 you need a piston that gets you where you need to be. Then rock and roll.

CP makes +3 and +6 for the 107. Wouldn't one of those pistons do the trick to make the heads useable in that application?

Yes that would have worked, but the motor only has a few thousand miles on it. It has flat top CP pistons in it now, I really don't want to pull those out.

I have a few emails out to different head guys and made a few calls (T-man) just waiting to figure out who to send the heads to. I have 3 or 4 stock sets just sitting in my shop.
