New rocker breather assembly

Doing some work on my 07 FXDL and needed breather gaskets.Went to the dealer and got a new assembly, part #17025-03A.
Any one tried these?Umbrella valves and fiber baffle is all contained in the assembly. No more loose packing that you have to mess with.

If possible, can you share a pic of this new breather assembly? Thanks.

That certainly is a new design...thanks again.

Please let us know how they work for you. My 02' had plastic breather assemblies and I replaced them in 03' with the older metal assemblies.

Will do.Kind of surprising that the MoCo would change such a simple workings. But have to say that the wad of fiber crap made me think that this was a low tech way to go about it.I will keep you posted on the results.

These new breathers are a lot easier to install when doing in-frame top end work...shorter bolts.

Is the kit #17025-03A for both heads or for just one?

They come each, so you need 2 for replacement on both heads. Careful with the gaskets, not sold separate. After removing a couple of times, they tear and the rebuild kit is like $13- 14. I went back to my perfectly good Al. versions when Mine tore and dealer didn't have repair kits in stock.

I would guess the motor company has them steel stamped because it is much cheaper then the aluminum assembly. It may also make a better assembly, but I think main reason is it is cheaper to manufacture
