That is only a little more than a hour from me. Not to bad. Did he tune your bike or anyone you now? What were the results.

Anyone familiar with Tramontin Harley in regards to Dyno-tuning? They are in Hope NJ.

Dave tunes every one of my builds that i do for myself and my customers. He is very good at what he does. He was trained by Doc a few years back and has really done well in polishing his skills..

What are your needs? EFi or carb? What tuning device? stock or built motor?

EFI. I put a 103 kit on my 2009 Fat Bob. It has 254 cams and SE slip ons plus the AC. Bike feels good but the numbers came in low. 81 HP and 92 TQ. It only has the break-in tune. I am suppose to go back for the final tune but the dealer said I would only see 1 or 2 more on the numbers, if that. So I would like to have another tuner look at the sheet and what I have on the bike. Then let me know if they could do better. If so I'll pay them. Maybe for the equiptment I have, this is the best it will get.

Post the sheet, some great tuners that post here might help.

For the parts you have in there, i am sure there is more if everything was done properly.
The slip ons might be holding it back a bit though.

Attached is my slip. I know I can pick parts that would give me better numbers but I like what I picked. The performance is good too. My question is, can I get more out of what I have with a better tuner?

Dyna;
I can also recommend JD's cycle. He's done work for me, always courteous and goes the extra step to make the job a little better.
Takes me a little more than an hour to get there, worth the trip.

There is JD's in Rossele Park. Are they the same guys that are in PA?

Nope. Slightly different names JDS Cycle vs. JD's.
However, I've had my bike dyno'd at JDS in Roselle Park and am quite pleased with them. They've also done some other work for me, and a friend.
Call and talk to Sean (owner) or Mike.
Good guys, and very helpful.

http://www.jdscycle.com/

Right off exit 137 of the GS Parkway.

I recently was all set to have them change the tensioner to the Andrews hydraulic kit, along with cams and a dyno tune. Two days before I was supposed to bring the bike to them, I was laid off. I had to go back to them and see if they could cancel the parts order. They said "No problem, don't worry about it. Let us know how your job search goes. We'll be here when you're ready again"
They were very understanding and didn't make me feel any worse than I already did.

I've also been to JD's in Bethlehem. Dave was very nice and more than willing to talk, even though he was busy. The only reason I went to JDS was that I couldn't ascertain a difference in quality/service/price between the two shops and JDS is 10 minutes from my house and JD's is a bit over an hour.

I know the guys from Tramontin. They have a really good reputation for tuning. I know they fix other dealers miss matched and under powered motor builds. Call up there and ask for Dave.
