t-man 625
Anyone have any long term experiance with this cam? I am considering it, but am wondering if it is noisey. I talked with TR himself, and he claims a broad torque curve and that some are running without roller rockers. I am not sure that they can be run with my R&R stage 21/2 heads though.

i have a couple thousand miles on mine now and its a great cam. once its properly tuned they are very quiet and the exhaust has a nice thump to it. i do have roller rockers with mine. my torque curve was really broad, from 2400 to 6000 as seen below:

I'll let your know, I'm getting the 625's installed as we speak. Hopefully it's ready to go by the end of the week.

I'm running 625s with roller rockers. Lots & lots o' torque and nearly no valvetrain noise.

I've installed a couple sets of TR625's, both with & w/o roller rockers. They are SHOCKINGLY quiet cams & do make a really broad torque curve.
With quality headwork, the 625 will take advantage of a larger TB too....

I am about to run these in my 103 build.............I had a set of Woods heavy spring set which made these cams really bang on the seat when closing.............I have just changed over to vThunder 5/16" beehives that have 150 on the seat and 375 at .625 lift.
I have not installed the intake yet so I have not run these cams to see loudness with new spring set and performance.
What do you use for springs and what do you have as seat and full pressure?

The ones I have done were with TMan Stage 3 (dual coil, 180lb spring) heads and/or his new Stage 2 ProTouring heads (new 180lb beehive). I do not know the compressed tension.
There was no noticeable difference in noise, they are quiet either way. I used HD B lifters on the Stage 3 build and HQ BlackOps lifters on the Stage 2. Additionally, The Stage 3 had roller rockers & the Stage 2 used stockers.

The Bassanis are way too loud for a 6am leave to work.........but thet do produce excellent numbers always........
I was not able to open the map you gave me Roderic but your help was much appreciated bro..............
