xler8r wants to know Dino or Syn?
107 all bore

My 06 SG's crank twisted so it's time to do what I always wanted.
My bottom end has been sent to Darkhorse, I have Axtell 107 kit on order. My heads are at 80cc. What cam should I use?
I was looking at the Andrews 67G, how much CCP is safe?
Where does this cam like to be as far as static compression?
Is there something else I should look at?
Also, where does a guy in NE Indiana get a "GOOD" sert tune?
Thanks in advance...

Yes got the flat tops, they will ship with either .030 or .040 Head gaskets (my choice).
My heads are previously ported and milled to 80cc they have 1.90 in and 1.57 ex and springs good for .600 lift.

Get your comp right, even if it means adding cc's by removing material in the combustion chamber and keep the cams you are running now, May want to consider milling a small oval dish in the pistons. I did this with an all bore 107 with R&R 525 cams last year. I swear there is some magic in that bore stroke combo, the 4 3/8 stroke 107 bikes just don't run the same, bike just ran way better than it should have, even with crappy pipes. Keep your ccp around that 190 -195 mark for a good street bike and install comp releases if you don't already have them. I think you would be really happy with this combo.

if i were doing one for my bagger, i'd prolly go with the s&s 625.
these combos work better than the 4 3/8 combo because the bore is bigger, unshrouding valves more improving head flow. be sure to take advantage of that.

He probably didn't have his tongue in the right spot when he twisted the throttle a little to early in the morning on an odd day of the month

skyhook wants to know Dino or Syn?
i'm running the se257(almost identical to andrews 67) in a 110" motor with 10.5 compression...115hp/115tq sae 250i...pulls like a madman above 3000rpm, but roll-on torque is not that great and it had a stumble when cruising below 50mph

better do the research on cams. with the cams that would bleed off some compression ( your heads are too tight), would work great for me, but may not work for you. may wanna talk to someone about biigger valves too, it all depends on usage and riding style.

ive been happy with mine. cant make it ping, with real gas. i guess the larger area for squish helps.

the timing on these motors is lots different, be sure and get a good tuner that will go through the entire tune-up.

Strokerjlk is in central Illinois,he knows what's up,there is probably someone closer but he will give you a complete tune, without smoke and mirrors..
Herko,Flying W Performance, is in Borden Indiana but he only tunes with TTS.
