t man .590 cam
Any body running the t man .590 cam? Getting all my parts together for a 103" build. Reworked stock crank with 10.5 to 1. Ported 07 heads with bigger valves (1.94). Any thoughts? Thinking about SE 50 mm throttle body. Thanks!!

Think a little more about the throttle body and get a 51 or 55 from HPInc.
Run 10.8/1
If the heads work you will have a winner as always assuming a good pipe and tune.

i just finished my 103, kept the forged SE pistons and the SE211 cam, and added the SE 50mm throttle body, ported heads with the same size intake valves your doin, thunderheader 2-1 exhaust and powercommander tuner, and it went from 100/117 to 117/121. if the budget is tight, the SE 50mm would do a good job. best of luck with the build

What Don suggested is close to what my 103" build was. I had a HPI 55mm t/b, Baisley Heads (1.94 intake, 1.63 exhaust), and the TMan 590 cam. But, I didn't have enough compression (I ran it at 10.35:1). Made 107/107. Once I went to a 113", I upped compression to 10.7:1. TR told me that it should be run between 10.6 and 10.8:1.

compression
Will much comp. (10.6) be too much? Will get pinging and hard hot weather starts? When do this cam sign on and sign off at? Leaning towards a s/e 50mm coz I dont have the funds for 700tb but later I will get one.

Save your funds and do it once, saves money overall with just one tune
