Is the SE255 cam a plug n play part for an 07 RK? I have the cam, bearings and adjustable pushrods. . . is there anything else i need to make this swap happen? Thanks in advance.

You don't need the push rods FWIW. The push rod in the SE bikes that use that cam have the same part numbers as the non-SE bikes.

What are you planning to do for a tune after installation?

Yea, you need to refill your motor oil after you change the cams. I'm sure you already knew that though.

255 in a 103?

I have a 103 in my 07 Nighttrain with no after market cam. Will the 255 go in my 103? I'm not planning any head work. If not the 255 what cam would work? Sorry about the hijack of the thread.

Smile Similar build

That is pretty much the same build I have.
FATCAT w quiet baffle and street ported heads (not that expensive) plus TMAX (expensive) are the main differences: I am very happy right now.
In the beginning I was experiencing a kind of short breath ot these cams past 4K rpms. After 1K miles I've seen some autotuning in the higher rpm range that somehow made it better... or maybe I just got used to it.
What really matters is where u mostly play the throttle: I love lower rpms pull these cams deliver, and I can live with some lazyness in higher occasional revving.
Just my .02.
