Head Fixture Pics For Hdryder

Hdryder, here's the pics we talked about in the exhaust port thread. You should be able to see the fixture I was talking about which attaches to the R-8 adapter. It sounds like correcting any deviations would be difficult on the plate you made, but it may not be necessary if you're close I guess.

I also showed a paper which shows how I correct deviations in runout after the first cut, if any are present. The #'s other than 0 on the X &Y axis's are all positive, and the #'s in thousands are deviations from the zero's on the DRO.

I also put in a pic of a piston set up for flycutting, probably easy to add to your plate, and quicker than a piston vise. I've got another bar .791" for evo's and shovels.

My ideas for a future seat runout guage were most borrowed from pics Bill Jones over on the Speedtalk forum posted, with a few changes.

Post pics of your stand, if you can, I always like to look at stuff like that, you can only look at so many pics of cam bearings and intake ports!

I tried to post the bigger pics on this post, but it would only let me remove them, the bigger pics are on post #5

I don't know why the pics stay so small when you click on them, before it wouldn't let me load them because they were too big, maybe I'll try to add them again tomorrow

Hightop,
GREAT pics, you're right, they're a little on the small side but I'm seeing what you're talking about. We have many of the same type of fixtures, custom made also.
