Let's talk final drive ratio...

Would it be advantageous to drop a tooth on the front pulley when going with a more aggressive (read as: higher rpm) cam profile?

Or would the added torque (even with a curve that's heavier to the right) create too much problem keeping the front end on the ground?

I am running 3.37 have a 24T at engine and 37T on clutch basket. I love the added torque although the rpm are around 300 higher. When the kitty builds back up I will install a OD tranny. As for cams you want to pick a more mid range style with a decent lift so you do not die at the higher rpms. The higher final drive gives you this latitude to choose such a cam for a heavy bagger.
