like this. the way it was originally stated, it sounded like gear drive cams were being shimmed on rear cam only.
now i see, its like the factory shims that are used on the late model chains. oem thickness is .100 and you set up the chain alignment with the use of thicker shims. i have a bunch of em.. now it makes sense, so if the supplied shim for the sprocket (comp) had been used and the comp torqued, there was no issue on that side, and the shimming of the cam side is SOP!
if the post i quoted above had been answered, therest would have fallen in place. darn, i was hoping this was going to be another juicey thread.
Sorry Clay, I was a little crazy with all this. At least now there is some info on this and and shims will be sent with crank.
