Horsepower Inc for me.

Fits under the stock cover, if you like the sleeper look (I do) and when Scott at Hillside dynoed it there was no difference with /without.

And yes mine is just based on tuning it on a dyno..2-3 hp loss is too much in my book for something soo simple and cheap.

When I used the dorghtey power pacc air filter on my 113 it cost me almost 10 HP on top compared to no air filter. I then went to a gerolomy overflow and was back to the same HP as no filter. Thats why I was asking if anyone had flowed the new open front or the larger elements to see what the flow differences were. I personally don't like the look of the overflow but that is the cheapest 10 HP I have ever bought. This is just my experience on my 113 build

im with you on this dan. joe tuned my fathers 98 bagger. he could not pull any numbers outta the kandn so we put a zippers in it. and it still was a lil shy.. so whoever says its over kill has not sat and actually watched what a air filter can do to your power.

call up scott at hillside and get your self one of his filters. nuff said.

No, I have not done a run without it. If it were a restriction, the amount of restriction (pressure drop across the filter) would increase with rpm (flow). Might be worth a try just for giggles.

What I'm inferring is that the 2-3hp had nothing to do with air filter. During my dyno days it was common to see 2hp differences from pull to pull even when nothing was changed. And that was an engine dyno, so no tire, tranny, belt, etc. variables to come into play.
