There is only one cam shaft brand worth owning, ask anyone on this forum. Opinions on any other cam should not be discussed here.

Thanks,

Pete

Contrary to popular belief, we used to run a .785 Red Shift in our AHDRA bike. Worked well indeed.
Had Comp Cams in Memphis, whip up a custom grind for us, after a while. Bike went quicker/faster.

So, this is supposed to be a technical forum, but posters use it as a childish playground instead.

mtnmotorrider is an unknown quantity at this point
Well, I ran a Red Shift .560 cam in my evo for a while and it was the snapiest of all the cams I tried. Like the afore mentioned end-all, be-all cams (I now run those in my Twin Cam), the Red Shift had very fast ramps, very fast acceraltion, and very noticable racket. However, if I build another evo, it will have one of those two brand cams in it!

I'm running a 577 at 10:1 comp. with 97". 100 more miles of break-in until I can have it dyno'd. Runs strong right out of the hole, looking forward to seeing the results.
