The numbers do not tell the whole story. The ramp rates are also very different between the two cams. The Wood cam opens and closes quicker and is a more agressive profile even though the numbers appear similar. That is the reason for the famed Wood cam noise, as compared to other cams. I have never seen a back to back run with the 570 and the TW-6, but my guess is the 6 will make better power earlier and may fall off a little sooner, as well. Overall peak power, I would guess, would go to the Wood cams by a pretty decent margin. That being said, I am not sure I would use a TW-6H in a 117 inch motor. I would personally say the 8 is the minimum I would use in a 117, with the 9 series being even better with good flowing heads.
