Question combustion chamber volume

Whats the pros & cons of having a small/large combustion chamber?? I noticed that most aftermarket heads are below 84cc while all SE heads (except MCR) are above 84cc

The smaller the chamber the higher the compression. Picking your Chamber size is dependant on what cams/pistons etc. Bean has an excellent program on his site for determing what cc's to use for your particular goal.

springer- will become famous soon enough
The size of the combustion chamber is just part of achieving a desired compression ratio for a build, typically determined by cam timing.

The program or compression calculator Mtclassic is talking about is here .. http://www.bigboyzheadporting.com/TwinCamComp.htm
