Woods Cam Prices

I'm looking to buy either the TW-6-6 or TW-408-44 cams for my 103" build. What shops have the best prices on these cams? Thanks!

you dont discount price if you have a great product. if you dont have to get rid of excess-----------you maintain price.

want discount pricing? look for discount parts!!!!

Amen Brother Dennis....

When I want parts I call Randy and tell him what I want he sends what ever I ordered along with the invoice... I send a check... YES that includes things like a Baker OD 6... I had it before any money exchanged hands... When you deal with the best in the business everything goes the way your expecting it too...

you can get new woods cams at a discount if you check around. the lower prices will never be published because woods will pull the account.

i used to give the names of two dealers who will discount to guys using PM but one a-hole then went back to another woods dealer and tried to get him to match or beat the price (told him NOT to do that) and caused a big stink.

start with the list of dealers at woods website and go from there.

Exactly. There are guys out there that are willing to make a little less markup. Very hard to find, though.

being a dealer for the better vendors includes a contract stating we will not advertise at lower than msrp,

bobby woods insists on this to maintain dealer integrity.

Thanks for the replies guys. I know that I'm not going to get these cams for next to nothing, thats not what I am looking for. But I do know that some shops will give you a break and sell them for less then msrp, but you have to contact them to get those prices, because as claydbal stated, they are not allowed to advertise prices under msrp. But since there are a few shops that will sell them to people for a reasonable price, why would I go somewhere else and pay $50 for the same thing? I was just looking for some more shops that I could contact to possibly get a better price. Thanks.

Remember Hillside Cycles (Scott Palmer) will install your Woods cams and check gear lash etc. for FREE if you send him the camplate...

So will HYPERFORMANCE & JD'S CYCLE there maybe more, I think Steve from GMR posted he would too...

You may find a large dealer or two who run a 15% off "winter special" on all their parts....including Woods cams.

As long as we are on the subject of Wood cam prices, consider this, a set of cams made by Andrews (who also makes Wood cams) can be had for less than half what Wood wants for his, not to mention that even at half price these vendors are still making a pretty decent markup, and yes, I know his cams work but I still see this as greed that is right on par with everything else we buy at a Harley dealership, you would think a good ole boy would cut a guy some slack. I guess if you wanta play you gotta pay!!!!
