107 CI pistons

ive run up on a set of pistons that are labeled for a 96 ci to 107 ci upgrade . they are teflon coated and 3.983 bore and call for a 4.375 stroke and advertise 10.5 to 1 compression.
the problem is they are labeled cp in the add but have a revolution performance part number of 301-105 . any ideas about these pistons ?
all help apprciated .

CP Pistons

Yes, those are CP pistons made for RP. Be sure they have the correct ring pack for the type of cylinders you are using.

I get a lot of those pistons from CP but I use them in oem cylinders. RP may have a ring pack for their nicasil bores that is not the same. Ask what the rings they are suppling were designed for. We don't use low tension oil rings for instance.

they make a set for stock jugs bored out to 3.983 = 107 with a 07 eglide crankshaft . i havent even talked to the guy about them , i just ran upon a set that might come at a bargain. a 107 ci motor with a little head work and a cam should be pretty strong . i wonder if the stock throttlebody is enough ?

ps did you get moved old timer ?

Hey Dennis,
That sounds a little large for stock jugs...Max bore @ 3 15/16" = 3.9375" X 4.375" = 106.64 inchs

Cheers

3.938? Not 3.983? That would be a tick large.
