Power
Have seen clients carrying the tire on the 1-2 gear change on touring machines, in front of our shop, with our 95" combos.

I've brought my front wheel up with my 88" motor, and with my current 95" build.
Can't say that I ever really wanted to, but it just happens sometimes.

One of the owners at our local dealer pulls nice wheelies with bone stock Harleys of any type. If you know what you're doing it's easy. The unintentional wheelie is something else again. On a hard 1-2 mine pulls air every time, but it took a good clutch to bring me there.

Roll on wheelies? Please!
I figure guys are either pulling real hard on the bars to get them up or dropping the clutch while pulling cause my bike sure as crap don't pull wheelies, and this thing makes enough torque at 132/137
I can roast the tires no problem in a few gears, but that front ain't coming up unless I pull like a bastard and whack the throttle real hard. Even with the clutch you gotta tug real hard or snap the throttle to break it loose.
I had it come up on shift once but that was at lower elevation where the power made a noticeable difference. I also keep bags loaded with gear, and tools which probably makes the bags about 50lbs a side and that doesn't allow it to roll up either. Maybe the guys with torque cams are doing it with 150ft lbs but there ain't no way your gonna do wheelies with a 103 unless your flashing and pulling hard.
Don't buy guys saying they can do roll on wheelies on a bagger unless they got a loaded tour pack or a fat girl on the back. Just my take and I've had a few decent builds in this bike. Now take a GSXR or a Ducati and that's when you learn what a roll on wheelie is really all about. Twist the throttle slowly with your left arm held behind your back and it will come right up on you. That's what I call a true ROLL ON!
