As for hidding! If my bike is running you know what the deal is... NO HIDDING 145 cubes.

Thanks for all props!

To get my 155" dailed with a D I had to drill out a couple jets, till I found the right combo. My throttle reponse is crisp and no flat spots, from idle to wot. After I tuned the exhaust both cylinders are identical in burn.Good Luck

Thanks for the great info!

We are going to start WOT tuning soon! Good to know that with some love we might find a good setup. But it sure would be nice to pick up twins.

Sorry Ratt, but that ebay set up is off of Chris' 124" challenge motor and I believe that manifold is a different port width compared to a 145" with the taller cylinders.
You need p/n 16-6107 for the 145-

that auction is just the carb setup, he has the manifold listed seperately for some reason.

Like a pussycat putting around like an 80 incher.....
then, when jetted correctly with the proper air bleed, mains, and intermediates, you twist it hard then it is like being shot from a cannon!

We talked about it a lot, if it were not for my Road King tanks and throttle cable interferance I would have one.(think I figured out how to make it work) Everybody I have talked to that has switched from a butterfly throttle plate to the slide says there is a big difference, especially down low where most of our riding is done. Some have claimed problems with dailing them in.That does not bother me a bit, any carb can be a pain if a person is not 100% comfortable with doing it.

Is it possible for Reggie to setup the PSI carbs for motors like the 155"?Understand they would not be completely tuned but sure would help for startup.

Mark posted in the R&R forum that R&R just dialed in his PSI set up. At one point, Mark had a dual set up. No clue if he still does. I'm sure the notes from his tune and a few others will help with basic start up info. Unless he is still running a dual set up.

Thx Towboat-
As said, you ca cover the holes up with an air cleaner but I chose not too. I have a baffle in my Guppy but yeah, it is still pretty loud as it really breathes...
