Hello.
I've just upgraded my 2002 FXSTBI.
New adds:
95" bore
SE flat top pistons
Crane 310 cams
SE adjustable pushrods
Ported and Polished heads
Power Commander III
Thunderheader
Ness Big Sucker
I did it myself with the help of a knowledgeable buddy. My skill as a wrench rates about a .68 on a scale of 1 to 10 but we put her back together an she runs. I need to re-map the thing but I can already feel the new punch although I'm under 50 miles and will wait for a few hundered miles and an oil change to put her to the test. Even before that though I need to address an oil leak problem. Looks like the leak is in one or both of the new adjustable pushrod tunnels.
I'm assuming I did something wrong in the installation. Does anyone have printed directions for this procedure or a way to troubleshoot the problem.
Thanks

Are you sure the 3 o-rings are in all 4 pushrod tubes?
Thanks for answering. I'd like to say I was sure, but knowing me, That would be a lie. I plan to check that tomorrow. We had a hard time snaping them into place and I'm wondering if the o-rings slipped.
thanks again.

a common mistake is forgetting to remove the old oring from the head so you end up with 2 orings in the head and that makes it difficult to snap the clip in. Is the oil coming from up near the head or near the bottom of the pushrod tube?
