2000 Softail Oil Leak Help??

Just did a BB build on my buds 00 night train. It has an oil leak up near the front left side of the bottom end where the two wires come out of the case and go to the voltage regulator. Although it was leaking before the build, it may be leaking a bit more now. Two questions:
1) Could I have done something wrong causing it to leak more

2) Can it be fixed w/out taking the motor apart

Thanks.

Added blowby would worsen the problem
I would guess the way to fix this would be to remove the wires and gromet and clean the hole with brake clean or equivalent and then silicone it back in. Depending on the configuration you may need to cut and solder / heat shrink the wires to do this (I can't remember right now).

Leak

Doubt if you caused anything, and yes you can fix it without the engine coming apart.

I agree, clean the area then use black hi-temp sealant on the plug and let it for 24 hrs to setup and that should take care of the leak.

The reason I use black is you don't notice it's on there.
