It was just a budget head work on a set of 06 take off heads. I am using them with andrews 26G's So he did a valve job, new kibblewhite valves and decked the heads to 83.2cc. so the compression should be 9.5:1. I think he was going to blend the ports. Maybe Steve will see this and elaborate on his budget job.

1711tab, I see you are from Prescott, do you work with Steve? I can't wait to get them installed. Seems like a great deal for the money.

No I build homes in the winter in Prescott and Ohio in the summer that way I can ride all year long. With the way home sales are I didn't build any this year in Ohio. Just worked on my own place back there.
When I'm in Prescott I go to Steve's 2-3 times a week.

So you watch Steve port heads? You have had the pleasure of watching him operate the CNC mill at his place?

Steve doesn't have a CNC Machine in his shop. He is partnered with another shop in Phoenix that does.
R&R also performs alot of his CNC work....

The street port jobs are done in house by me. Now it is no big deal for me to tell anyone that R&R is now doing all of my blank CNC cutting now we do the hand finish, and final assmy work in house. The CNC heads that we get from R&R are not for sale from R&R. They have heads that are less and more but this cut is for GMR . That was a deal that Reggie and I set up. With his type of porting and CNC machines there is no way for me to keep up with that. We tried, but he can turn them faster and better. We sell somewhere in the 400+ sets a year. I would never have time for anything else other than porting heads.
If I can offer a better product to the customer is that wrong??
Glad you like the heads and we where able to get them back to you asap.
And rule #62 applies.
