i know the 615/585 cams that GMR or RevPerf or even R&R probly'll work the best since Reggie Sr did em himself with those heads in mind...personally, i wouldnt try to reinvent the wheel in this case

You bought the best heads money could buy, why not ask the guys who built them??? and maybe even buy from them so you have access to their 2nd to none advice , Instead of trying to save a buck or two and buying things twice and or part by part from the cheapest guy because you fell for the smoke and mirrors trick that they can and will suck you into, just my 2 cents earned from experience

The 615/585 cams are reggies and Speeds @ speed performance. I would recommend you to talk with R&R or speeds and they can steer you right. Booggerbe

Really? R&R cast heads are the best heads that money can buy? Dan Baisley might argue that one.

I'll wait for his arguement and not take your word on this one, as I'm sure you knew what I was getting at with the response I left

I love my R&R heads and 615/585 cams, it is a great combo and runs very strong.

depends on the compression you will be running and the size of motor, etc.

i have a set of r&r cast heads on my stroker 106 and reggie actually recommended i use something more aggressive than his 615 585 cams. so you should really ask his advice based upon your engine build and desired riding style.

FatboyNH wants to know Dino or Syn?
I have R&R's cast heads on my FatBoy. However, I have SS 625G gear cams instead of chain driven cams. Either way, R&R builds an awesome engine package. Could not be happier with it.

I believe Rdubu meant that you have two cylinder head porters here that are in a league all their own, I know Dan and Reggie personally. Neither of them would take offence or great pride in this exchange.

HDWRENCH wants to know Dino or Syn?
AS far as i know Dan does not make a cast head, and I like Dan and his heads are great. But the cast head has a intake port that you would have a very hard time to reproduce on a stock casting. Not to mention the money invested to get there. We are a huge believer in the R&R cast head, we sell and install tons of them, Each and every time they are making numbers that are repeatable time and time again,
We use the cast head on everything from 95 inch to 155. It really is a great product for the money. If you are in the area drop by and check out his shop, you will be AMAZED!!!!!!!

As I mentioned before, those two guys are in a league of their own, they are professionals, and neither would piss on the ground to mark their spot especially in a forum where we should be focusing on product for a specific application. Really if you want to see what they do, stop by their shops and then the real education will begin.
