Well no. The only cam tools needed for the 96 is the inner cam bearing puller and installer. That's it unless you buy the gear locking tool(not really needed, but nice to have). If you have the bearing installer from Georges garage, he will sell a spare adapter for the newer 1 inch inner bearing. The puller needs to be bought though.
The cams themselves arent pressed in the the plate anymore with bearings, if you werent going to change the inner bearings to a full compliment style, you wouldnt need any special tools at all.
