Cam Install

I getting ready to install a set of Andrews 26 in my 07 RKC. Is this a job for someone who knows his way around a motor? It looks pretty straight forward according to the manual, but Im a little iffy on adjusting the push rods whan it comes time. Any feed back is welcome.

If you goto www.hdforums.com.au and go into the workshop you will find a pictorial on doing cams in a 2007 Harley
It was done over 5 days but is a sticky at the top so easy to find with lots of photos and text

Doing the push rods is the easy part. It's imperitive that oil pump be aligned correctly.

Go to the feuling oil pump site and use their method. I have had trouble with the pins. The local Harley dealers here use it also.

I never worked on a Harley before installing my Andrews 26 cams in my 07 EG. I started 2 days prior to 4000 mile trip. Every thing went well. I aligned the pump basically the way the fueling oil site says. I used the stock rods. Just remember that your air flow through engine changes. Ignition timing needs adjustment as well as you fuel map.
