Gas Mileage!!!

Average - about 40 mpg

Best (riding to Sturgis with a decent tail wind doing 60 to 65 in 5th gear) - 55 mpg

Worst (coming home from Sturgis doing 90 to 100) - 32 mpg

My original post in this thread was with my 06 streetbob.
My 08 EG is a couple mpg's better overall. I do get a good bit better mileage on the highway though.
My average is up from about 40 to around 43.

Love my V&H combo btw.

07 Heritage stage 1 Rush 2" at 1K. 95% two up. We Ride normally from 25-55 mph average probably 45mph and use 2nd-5th on country roads.
Some 2 lane state roads. Have riden this way for 2yrs.
When bike was new we got 38-40 mpg till the stage 1 install. Then we got anywhere from 38-42. last year.
I dont know why but after the 10K service this spring, they put in new plugs and cleaned the k&n filter but since then we are getting 41worst-47best and average 42-43 on most fill ups.
If we are on state rds and shift into 6th and ride about 62mph or so the fuel milage goes down. Our best mileage is always in 5th gear at 55mph.

UPDATE: took trip north and averaged 65-70mph, after checking milage we got 40-41mpg. So our best is still running 55mph in 5th gear 43-45 mpg
