I have an '08 Ultra with SEAC, SE street performance mufflers (64985-07) and a stage 1 download. I get around 41 MPG in mixed riding. You didn't mention your riding habits ie. WOT from street lights, etc. 28MPG is way to little unless you are really hammering it frequently. You might want to get a dealer to check your scooter out.

well, since that post i have taken a 1000 mile round trip ride. On the way i had to fuel up 2 and a half times roughly 450 miles, so everything seems normal. That first post was during the week trips to work, wot, jumping off the light, you know riding the dog sh-- out of it, which is easy to do when i am on the autobahn alone at 7:30 in the morning.

222 on counter
Riding to River Run I clocked 222 from La Mirada to Needles and topped off with 4.69 Gallons. looks like 47 MPG Freeway miles at 67-72Mph.

08 eg classic stock
my best mileage 35 mpg -- my average 32 mpg, riding solo (240 lbs) very little in bags. completely stock. uploaded latest and greatest map about 500 miles ago -- no change in mpg. i ride with in speed limits and no fast take offs. however, I only have 3000 miles on the bike. I figure mileage on every fill-up. a change in mileage without a reason is sometimes a clue something is rotten in Denmark. my riding is about 90% hiway (California rolling hills). hoping it gets better with more miles

98 Evo FLHTC, SE heads, SE air cleaner, SE-3 cam, alternate between modified stock mufflers and old style touring mufflers (65967-96), CV carb with Dynojet (44 slow, 170 main, needle 3rd notch).
Have gotten as high as 48mpg (only once, may have had tailwind help that day), as low as 38 (two-up 75mph), and usually averaging somewhere in the low to mid-40mpg. Two-up seems to knock about 2mpg off. I check mileage after each fillup almost religiously, and I try to top off the tank to exactly the same spot every time (just to the lip of the filler hole). I try to ride conservatively for mileage, but allow the occasional blast through the gears.

I had an 02 Ultra stage one and it averaged around 39 mpg, my 08 Ultra trike, bone stock, is getting around 36 mpg. I am hoping that it will get better as it gets broke in, just added SE slipons.
