You can't consider what is left in the tank, only what it took during your journey...31MPG is your actual.

You had .5 gallons left, which would of given you 15 additional miles of traveled before you ran out of gas. However, at the end of those 15 miles, you still would of had 31MPG.....155/5=31

Regards,
NC

So you gettin' 210 to 240 miles per tank?

4 gallons= 204 miles
4.5 gallons= 229.5 miles

Are you sure about that?
