Ultra 2007 stage mostly city around 30 mpg, 2 up loaded highway 38-45 mpg, Autobahn 100 mph + 30-35.

28 for a Bob city riding seems high, but if it's only short trips with frequent starts, it's possible

Stock 07 Superglide-180 pound rider-varies from 44-49 mpg. The 49 was when I tried to get good mileage-slow starts, less braking. This is a mixture of city (little) and rural hi-ways (a lot) with some Interstate (little) riding. Most often it is 46-47 mpg.

I installed a Power Commander III USB and while the engine ran a little better, with the richer mixture, the gas mileage dropped into the high 30's. I sold the P.C. and went back to stock. A little surging at low speeds and a decelerating "pop", now and then, beats a big drop in MPG of premium gas, IMHO.

See sig for Bike&Specs.

I average about 40 mpg.

mid 30's around town and low 40's on roads/highways.

Edit-
Make that mid/upper 40's on roads/highways.

I get a pretty consistent 40-45 mpg, sometimes a bit more. I live in the country and do almost no stop and go riding, and usually cruising at 55-60. I find that if I do much highway riding at 70+ that my mileage quickly drops to the low 30's mpg.

Two weeks ago I took a 1300 mile trip from the Lansing area to Copper Harbor and back, two-up, and loaded with gear. My buddy was on a rented 2007 Ultra, also two-up and loaded with gear. I got a very consistent 40 mpg and it turned into a running joke that most of the time when we fueled it would turn out that we had bought within a small fraction of a gallon of the same amount of gas, and twice the exact same amount. So I'd say he must have been getting 40 mpg as well.

Only have about 700 miles so far on my '08 Ultra - first fillup showed a hair over 35 mpg, 2nd fillup was 38.2, then 41 and 40.

Haven't gotten out for a long hiway cruise where 6th gear would be a factor - quite a bit of city driving - twisty back roads, etc.

Shooting to get normal mileage into the 40 - 45 range.

Should try to get on the highway...

...I mean I don't get any better than 30, solo riding heavy on the saddle (190), on the throttle and mainly intown and on mountain roads... But who cares, ya know how nice it his to go around the silence of the Alps with a fatcat @ WOT?!

My 07 SG running a SE a/c with k&n filter with stock exhaust an PC 3 usb get 42 mpg. This is with a 185 lb rider an seems to be consistent from checking last 3 tanks. Have not figured out which pipes I want to install yet.

Hi all.

My 07 E-Glide and I just returned from a 2400 mile trip to LA and back, and quite frankly, it was all over the place, one tank i would get 38, next 32, next 45.

I found wind will kill the mileage if you leave it in 6th, dropping to 5th help to reduce the load on the engine.

Anyway, the worst was at 80 into the wind, 28.91mpg, the best was over hwy 199, 45.45mpg.

I am working with Vance & Hines on this, we have gotten it up a bit, but there is a 11 mpg drop going from 60-65 to 65-70, and two more going to 75.

I know it is a rich cell that needs a bit of tweekin'

Mileage

We just did a performance job for a client with an 88" S&S engine (carbed) and he called in and alerted us to his new gas mileage at 52-3 mpg. Makes 94 hp/97 ft /lbs. where you can use it. Happy guy.

Took the HW

Did 300 miles yesterday, mostly highway and mountains: new mpg highest value is 49! Amazed ! BTW, MPG is way too depentent on so many factors we really shouldn't spend time comparing each others...

2007 RK Custom R&R 525 Cams, K&N Air filter, Bassani True Duals and Power Commander.
Just came back from the Poconos and at 140 miles on trip I pulled into gas station and she took 4.5 gallons to fill ..so I would say I am at 40 miles or so per gallon. I rode single and I am 6"2 @ 225 lbs. Speed 35 to 60 MPH on the trip (Back Roads)

I'm putting a set of ported heads in this week and I wonder if it will drop??
