Just returned from a long 4 day weekend trip and averaged 43 mpg running 70 to 75 mph through rolling hills. Bike is a classic with cobra fueler, s.e / k&n filter, true duals with rush mufflers. Single 260 lb rider with about 30 lbs of gear.As was mentioned, I was averaging only 36 to 38 till I got up around 6000 miles on the bike wih all the same settings.Oh and also have a stage one download.

im getting about 150 miles out of 4 gallons on my streetbob. I dont expect much more considering im in stop and go city traffic and im heavy on the throttle. on the highway im usualy around 70-75 and dont like the way 6th feels till above 75. It still beats my pickup that gets around 10 mpg.

Right at 40mpg, 6th gear w/cruise set 80-83 fully loaded on the trip to Sturgis. Rode with a buddy on his 07 SG, he was just slightly better at every fill-up, 41ish.

95" Ultra with mild headwork and cams, 39 mpg mostly. A little more on easy back roads.

My '07 SG gets 40 city, 50 hwy (55mph), 47 hwy (65mph). Stock except Rush 1.75's, K&N, and PCIII with canned map, tweaked for gas mileage in cruise range.

took a trip this weekend and observed the highway mileage, 161 miles on a tank and that is the closest i could get to the "E" before i pulled over for gas. during the week city driving is only around 136 miles so i guess that sounds just about right. but dam, on a 4 gallon tank gets pretty expensive, more than the car!

50 Mpg!
I have a stock '06 Street Bob. A short windshield may hurt me a small amount.
Running mostly 60 mph for the last three days, I got 50 mpg. on the back roads here in North East Florida. However, I've seen it as low as 38 mpg if I hot-rod it around the streets.

07' fatty w/SEAC, muffs, SERT with CLB just a couple bumps across the board over the suggested map on the latest disc.
Running about 130miles between fillups (yellow light) at 3 gallons, so just over 40 average. that's intown, highway, and i-state all around.
It's a little less when I run steady 80+ on the i-state tho - maybe loose a few MPG (like 150 miles/3.8gal).
I have a map that I tweaked over time (some VE adjustments and timing increases) with my data runs that seems a lot peppier. Makes the exhaust louder, more low grunt, and with or without the adjustments it runs great and no decel popping/etc . But it dips the MPG down in the lower 30's.
So I tend to run the leaned out ver most of the time.
-EDIT- Add that I'm 200lbs 6'(wind resistance? <g>) and have lil bags on the scoot that are always full of something - maybe add 20lbs for that.

Weight
When making these posts indicate your weight, passenger weight if applicable, and how much you have in your bags if applicable. Weight and speed are huge.
My '07 Heritage averages 46 for around town rides with no stop and go traffic. That's with no passenger, me at 185 and the basics in the bags. I've gotten low 50's on long runs at 70 in 6th with full bags and no passenger and wind behind.
My brother has the identical bike and gets slightly less but he weighs 210.
We both have the standard HD Stage I, SE air cleaner, slipons, and MAP.
