New style crank bearings - how strong?

Does anyone know about how much rear wheel torque the new roller style crank bearings are good for? I'm upping the 96 ci motor to a 10:1 cr 103 ci next winter and don't want to pull the cases unless realy neccessary.

The crank is what you have to worry abt. 103 build and 2000 miles on it the crank shifted. Doing a 107 build now. Will be ready by the end of month.

I'm bumping this question up again because I still want to hear from you guys regarding the new flat roller crank bearings.

4k miles on a 07 103" with a true 10.5:1 and 101 ft lbs of torque. No problems yet! No burn outs, hole shots or wheelies either. I ride at 2200 RPMS minimum and only run 6th gear above 2800 RPMS. Lugging the motor and any sudden shock to the crank ie burn outs, hole shots and wheelies will shorten your engines life span. Not saying thats how you ride but just an example.

I ride about the same as you, no abuse, mostly one-up and unloaded. NEVER lug it below 2,500 RPM and don't take it over 5,000 either. When I go to 103 ci, should be no more than 110 ft lbs torque.

Thats probably where mine is, between a 100 and 110 ft lbs. Otto did my tune and said his dyno is typically low on #'s. I tell you what, you'll like that kind of torque, sounds like we ride about the same in the RPM scales. Mine has peak torque #'s right at about 27-2800 rpm and stays there until redline at 5800. Good luck, if the crank goes out, think 124". I have a new credit card with nothing on it for just an occasion!
