Screamin Eagle Triple Platinum plugs- Pre Gapped?

I just purchased the Screamin Eagle Triple Platinum plugs, 32996-01 for my 07 Road King. Does anyone know if they are pre-gapped out of the box? If not, what is the proper gap for these plugs?

I use them ( have for 10,000+ miles) , and according to the wrench they are pre-gapped . I had no issues right out of the box

Plugs

Don't trust any plug to be pre-gapped.
We have seen all the u-groove, split-fire snakes tongue, multiple ground strap stuff.
What we have seen is goodness with NGK Iridium's recently.

Are these plugs worth using?????? Are they better than the stock Harley plugs or the preffered Autolites?

Thanks

I used the Harley triple platinum plugs right out of the box. No issues. My preference is always to use genuine Harley parts in my Road King.

NKG Iridium Performance Spark Plugs

The NKG Iridium Spark Plug P/N for 2001 - 2008 Twin Cams is:

NGK # DCPR7EIX (Stock No. 6046).

They are available through any Car Quest auto parts store (CA) for $7.98 ea.

I spoke to NGK's Tech Support and was told these are the best, "Premium Performance" spark plugs available and far exceed the performance of any platinum plug.

I also noticed that our local HD Dealer has NGK Platinum plugs on the shelf for 13.99 each (lesser performance than NGK Iridium plugs).

CAUTION: NGK confirmed that the DCPR7EIX plugs come pre-gapped at 0.032 from factory. Twin Cam motors require a 0.040 gap.

NGK said not to use any spark plug gapping tool that applies direct pressure on the thin, Iridium (center) rod. Any forcefull prying against the Iridium rod will result in S/P electrode damage and plug failure.

Thumbs up Good OL NAPA

Auto parts, carrys most NGKs, priced right , too.
I had a noticibly positive difference in the seat and idle behavior over HD plugs and I am not using the Iridium.
NGK .040 gap is for stock compression, .032 (I believe) is for around 10.25. adjust slightly higher comps.
My compression is 9.6, I gap at .036 one cold from stock.

go to go
