My throttle grip dosnt return to full closed by it self. So the idle is about 1500? If I force the throttle back closed... Idle OK but the red light Cruise light comes on on the tach? Any suggestions?

There is a dealer download for early 2008 FBW bikes. Or go with a TTTS tuner that takes care of it as well. Read up in the OM on the cruise light coming on, it sets the hot idle mode for the rear cylinder.

I have a 2008 Street Glide and had the high idle problem. it was random until the newer ecm flash was done by the dealer at no charge. go to your dealer and tell them you have the high idle problem and want the newer download. If they try and charge you don't pay a dime. tell them it's a safety hazard and you'll leave the premises and they will be liabil if you have an accident.
