Lifters and Wood tw7

Hey guys,

Lifters finally gave up after 4000 miles on 103" 07 ultra..Previous threads by me have full description of problems with build..Any builders out there recommend a particular lifter with Wood tw7 gear drive?
One with enough chamfer on the body not to hit the cam???
Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks,
Bill

Are these the stock lifters in a 2002 FXDWG? If so, I just happen to have a set on hand from my 02 Build...

They might no be "B" lifters from an 02. Is the retaining clip a u shape or a square shape? Might not hurt to buy a new set. Bout 100 bucks.

Lifter bore and piston, from 02 Wide Glide, are larger than stock 07, crane and feuling...clip is "U" shaped not square like the others, also, the lifter body is chanfered at the roller end and not squared off like the others... if these are not the "B" lifters, what is the part#for the "B" lifters..would be happy to pay one of the sponsors for them?...or do I have to get them from HD dealer?

thanks,
Bill

These lifters might be stocked by some vendors, but the dealer has them as well. The b superceded the a, so they all come that way now.

claydbal will become famous soon enough
some B lifters have chamfer, some dont. how bout a pic of the non chamfered lifter contacting the cam? you dont know how much this would help others. -----or maybe you do!
