New heads for 07 FXST? Compatibility question...

Hey all!

Question 1:

I would like to buy a set of used heads to send out for work so as to minimize downtime. I have a 07 Softail (not so) Standard and would like to know which heads I should be looking for? I guess 07 and up?

I've got my eye on both a set of 2007 Road King heads and 2008 FLHX, will either of these work for my application? Are there any heads I should avoid?

Question 2:

As for my street-duty motor build I have already collected: SE 103" jugs/pistons, Woods TW6-6, Andrews 30 tooth trans pulley, PCIII, Rinehart 2into1, and cash for a dyno tune!

As far as the port and polish goes I've narrowed it down to one of 3 services: Big Boyz, R&R Stage II, R&R Stage IV

I know both shops offer excellent service, my question is for my modest build do I need to go all the way to the R&R Stage IV? Will the entry level (cost wise) Big Boyz job suffice? Or should I stick in the middle with the Stage II?

Thanks a lot! You all are great!

You can use any year TC heads on that year. If you are going to have them ported, it really doesn't matter, as a matter of fact, there are some porters that would rather use older style heads.
