Heat issue fix wanted 09 RK

I had an 04 FLHT that got really hot ... cooked my wifes right leg.... that was when the outside temp was 90+ though. My new 09 RK is really hot too.... hotter than the 04. I've read a bunch of info here about the heat issue. I like the way the bike runs stock & I even like the sound of the pipes. What are the tried & true, definitive methods to lower the heat temp from the engine? can I get the oil temp down to 220 with the super tuner & stage 1 a/f? Can I add some slip ons that are stock sounding? if so, which? I really do not want to replace the ecu, add cams etc.... Isnt' there another way??
I just bought the bike (125 miles on it) & the outside temps are cooling a bit here in NJ but once next summer hits, the engine will no doubt be unbearable. I want to get the heat down (oil temp to 220 or below) by next riding season.
Any & all comments & help appreciated!
Steve

since posting this, I've done some research. I've been looking for postings from Steve Cole in ref to EFI, etc....
I looked up TTS Mastertune & called the closest tuner - JD CycleWorks in Bethlehem, PA. Dave informed me that Steve Cole is behind the TTS Mastertune. That's enough for me.
I'm going to break the RK in over the next couple of weeks & then take it to JD's for a Zippers AF, some slips & the TTS! Done
Thanks!

TTS MasterTune is a good choice. If you felt upto it you could even tune it your self! It is not all that difficult when you study the materials before hand. You can get really close to a dyno quality tune buy just following the instructions that come with it.

+1 on the TTS. Doc tuned both my SG and my wife's Heritage with it by having me take 3-30 minute rides carrying a laptop in a saddlebag then massaging the results. Significantly reduced heat and they both just purr. To further lessen the heat issue, a mild cam like an Andrews 26 helps, too.
