Red 10mm Plug Wires

I put S/E Red 10mm plug wires on tonight. Part# 32318-08 09+
$20.00

I'm thinking the red will give a good contrast. I lifted the tank and installed them, put down the tank and realized you have to squat down next to the bike to see the red wires. The front one touches the gas tank so I'm going to put a short section of wire loom on it. I'll see tomorrow if it runs any different, I'm not counting on any difference. If you're thinking of adding these wires keep in mind the visual part is minimal. I'll get a photo tomorrow.

I used to have the same on my bike before I painted back to black I dont think there is much diff if any. I got the old stock back on as they are black and do not notice performance or anything.

It really depends on where your coil is located. Mine show good. No performance... strictly "looks" faster.

The stock plug wires are the best, many times the after market wires bleed RFI and create issues with the inductive coil pickup, making tuning it a PIA. I have even swapped over to the wire to the coil and being the wires are hooked to the coil had issues. ( even sapped pickups to new ones) swap stock wires in problem solved. HD had a TSB on the use of the SE wires with EFI bikes. In a nutshell they are not to be used with EFI. That TSB is several years old now.
