The Twin Cam 96 also has an integrated oil cooler adapter.

If you look under improved oil pump
it says there is "an integrated oil cooler adapter".
Is it the two allen head set screws
where the oil filter screws in facing the front of the bike?

That is interesting. Looked through my service manual, but no mention of it. And I have the HD Oil Cooler for the '09 Touring. I would have thought they'd take advantage of that, but they didn't.

Looks as if it could be the two screws. Maybe they don't utilize it because it doesn't have a themostat?

This topic has been discussed here before but it turns in this is better than that. I just want to know what that statement by H/D is all about and where the integrated adapter is at.

So it would seem. I actually thought maybe Harley didn't create their own aftermarket on one thing....you know give the buyer of a very $$$$ motorcycle something extra.

Don't remember why but those plugs won't work for oil cooler lines; there was a thread on it. (I know this is old but I'm searching heat related stuff, mine's running between 230-250 pretty often)>

Looks like Harley realized the $$$ lost.

Those allens are supposed to be plugging holes used to drill the oil passages in with. Not sure why you can't use them but most likely the flow thru them is wrong.
