Pulled The Trigger On My Build

Wanted to share the build i have decided on for my '08 cross bones, since i got a lot of good info from you good folks on this forum.....
Dusty at Alef's in Wichita will do it--107" all bore, cp pistons, HQ cams, his stage 1 street porting, beehive springs, manual compression releases, not sure on the final compression he is shooting for.. will be running Hooker darkside 2-2 with BCTM's....
told him i wanted a real torquey 2000-5000 rpm motor-reliable and streetable....
my baby is at the dealership waiting on him to return from Sturgis!
hoping for right at 100/100+... they will also do a final complete dyno tune after she's broken in... i'll try to post the results when it's all done.... oh, and they give their engine builds 12month/10k warranty! and use no SE parts unless you want them.....

can't wait, and thanks for all your input...

reliable and torquee too funny a reliable Hot rod! Yeah that is why Hot rodders know how to wrench, cause they don't have too... (sourcasm) sounds like you are going to have a quick bike though. Octane is hard to find and might get harder and harder to find, keep that in mind when going for compression.

Thanks, hbmc! during the 'interview' when they were asking me about my riding style and what i wanted to accomplish with the build, i did tell him i wanted to be able to run on the nasty 88 octane (or less sometimes!) that is sometimes the best i can find when out in the rocky mtns when i ride out there on occasion...
here in oklahoma, we have 91 just about everywhere, so that will be the main diet.....
