I am finding that with most of the loctite brand products. Everything locally has switched to Permatex only available in "red" and "blue".

Ya I've bought it at dealer. But most autostores carry Permatex. I think thats what I been using for blue. The red is a little more involved. If you read the description for loctite #s, it says diffeant size bolts. When I am doing red, its usually something I don't want to screw with again, so go with what manual calls for. But I am probably over thinking it too.
