107" Build "HELP"

I am working on getting parts together to do a 107" build for the winter. I do all my own work on my bike. But i don't know much about "boring". Can you take your factory cylinders and bore them out to a 107 or does that make the wall to thin. Has any one done a build and have a parts list that they used and what type of Hp and Tq that you got. I know you can build 10 motors and none of them will be alike. I just want to get an idea. I know that there are kits that you can buy but I want to try to build my own but I don't want to have a bunch of parts that don't do the job. I Know this is the place to get all the answers

You may want to contact Zippers Performance. They are in Maryland also. Or contact some of the forum sponsors, like R&R or Hillside etc.

yes, you can bore oem jugs to 107 no problem. you will have to buy forged pistons. bore to 103 and can use cast pistons.

you do need to consult a good builder to determine cams, compression, headwork, exhaust, etc:

another thing to put at top of list is to find a great tuner, ask which tuning device he is most comfortable with, and purchase that device.
