clutch plate install question

Howdy! After replacing the steel and friction plates on my 07 FLHRC I squeezed the lever and it was hard as a rock. I attempted to re-adjust to no avail. The install and adjust went smooth - the parts are correct.
I'm thinking that I need to go to the other side of the bike (Clutch release cover) and take a peek. It's like something is binding up? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! (I really don't feel like removing my exhaust to open the clutch release cover

ok so you rebuilt the clutch and now it is to stiff? I kinda doubt the bearings got bound on the tranny cover/bearings over there. However it could happen. What about the Springs on that rebuild as well as the over all thickness of the rebuild? You know the 3 bearings on the transmission cover side are clipped in there with a beefy clip. of course when you pull the lever it rotates on a ramp and then pushes the shaft thru the mainshaft and of course the springs are then activated if you will. So that is why I would trouble shoot the spring pressure/ torque however if you are confident as to the R&R then you gotta go check the ramp on the exhaust side as you have deduced.
