Is there a trade off in oil pressure loss, using the JAGG. It would seem the restriction inline of the cooling grid may affect oil pressure?

went with the HD cooler. went for a 30 mile ride today, temps were upper 70's. wife wanted to take her bike out for a putt so i followed along.( new rider)when we got back i hit the button on the temp dip stick and 245* was hoping to see around 230* but i can live with that. does the Jagg adaptor make that much of a difference in temp drop ??

I use an OIL BUD cooler on my 09 ROADKING, it mounts flat under the motor totally out of sight and is t-stat controlled, temps run about 220.

The stock Hd cooler is as good as most of the others.
If you want to make the oil cooler more effective this simple low cost add on works.

I run the HD oil cooler on my 08 Softail. It does drop the oil temps by about 20 F.

When you install the adapter you have to make sure you get it torqued right. I like it because it has the thermostat.

John Goldsmith wants to know Dino or Syn?
I'm going to try the UltraCool Reefer unit on my 07 Ultra Classis. It has 17 rows of tubes and two fans that come on at 220 degrees and go back off at 180 degrees. It appears a little bulky in size, but I will live with that if it works. My ride is a 103 big bore with SE 255 cams, SE A/C and SE 4" Street Performer slip-ons. I have also added a SEPST and set the AFR's to 12.8 --13.2. It is running a lot cooler now and still gets 44MPG.

A good ole Jagg cooler fits the bill for any bike and if you chucked those 255's for something better it would run much cooler on top of that.
