Checked my Cam Tensioners

Nice little bit of engineering by Harley. They put a little 'arm' on the inner cam chain tensioner so you can lift it up with a little screwdriver, put a pin in the hole to hold it back and look at it with a dental mirror. These instructions should be in the SM. Still hard as hell to see..I had to take a pic with digi camera and blow it up on my computer to see! Gettin old sucks

19K and at about 1/32"-1/16" wear both inner and outer.

That's about how much wear I had on my shoes. I examined them after I replaced my 203's with a set of gear driven S&S 570's.

I felt that this amount of wear was perfectly acceptable for the amount of miles I had at the time (17,000). While I don't care much for the chained cams, they appeared function well enough.

I dog the piss outta my bike. I expected the wear to be worse than it was. I don't know what would cause some guy's shoes are wearing excessively but I understand you can polish the chain to help reduce shoe wear.
