lower right side noise

i have an 03 roadking with an sbc 95" build that runs great. I recently put the 24/37 gearing in and immediately developed a grinding noise that sounds like it is coming from the right side cam area? the noise is at low idle and happens after the bike has been fully warmed up. It comes and goes and is very intermitant.

i have read the posts about the comp sprockets coming loose and i have checked and rechecked mine. i even installed the old 25/36 gearing and have the same intermitant noise???

i used red loctite and torqued to specs both times.

any other ideas about what the noise could be or if i did something wrong??

If it sounds like a whirring noise could possibly be too tight on the primary chain adjustment. when the motor and trans heat up and the material expands, they move away from each other and the primary chain tightens up.
otherwize based on what you did ,I'm drawing a blank. Anyone???

It does this just sitting there idling? Or does it doing while riding or it is rolling?
