What are your progressive 440 shocks set at

I just put on the Progressive 440 Heavy Duty shocks on my 2000 Ultra. I weigh about 240 and do most of my riding solo. Just looking for input as to what setting others are using just to get a place to start. Also input as to how high to set them up when riding with the OL on the back would be helpful. She goes "about" 175. I just hope she does not see this post or I will be telling Buster my pug to move over....LOL

I still have mine set where they were when I took delivery, which is two notches up from the softest. I am about to notch it up to about half way to see how it feels, that will probably take a few miles to really determine. Since I am still breaking in, my wife hasn't gotten on yet, but I figure to start with all notches showing and see how it feels. I weigh the same as you, but my wife is 125 and I also went with the heavy duty 440's. Since your bike is heavier than mine, I might consider starting out at half and put a few miles in the twisties on her to see what you think. If it feels too soft, add a notch. Once you get yours dialed in, I would probably turn it all the way up for two up riding. If it feels too stiff, take a notch out.
