Piston size?

What's the maximum piston you can run with your stock jugs, and stay reliable? 1550 that's bored .005, .010 or more? I saw an ad for 4" pistons which was I think, 1640 somthing total displacement.

3.875" plus the oversizes.

4" requires different barrels and case boring.
