Engine oil drain??

Call me stupid but I look under my bike to change the oil and I see a couple different drain plugs, which one is for the motor oil? Thanks

Your owner's manual has a diagram showing what's what.

The one more to the front and more centered is the oil drain. The one on the throttle side below and closer to the oil fill spout is the transmission drain.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get a factory service manual. Best $50 you'll ever spend. You'll be answering posts instead of asking questions.

He was asking about his Roadking not your softail or dyna so that's the answer he got.

Telling people to go buy a manual doesn't add a lot of value to this forum now does it???

It would have been nice if he'd mentioned he was talking about a 2004 RK rather than us having to go to his bio to figure it out. Surely a 2004 RK comes with an owner's manual that shows drain locations. If he is going to do his own service, he needs a service manual. Without it, how would he know fluid quantities, what sealants to use on which plugs and torque values. My advice would be to have the fluids changed at a dealer/indy until he comes up with at least an owner's manual.
